 HORSE GRAM RASAM/KULTHI DAL RECIPE  FOR WEIGHT LOSS RECIPE.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Horse gram boiled 1 cup
  • Tomato 3 no
  • Mustard 1 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida 1 pinch
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curry leaf and coriander

FOR DRY ROAST AND GRIND:

  • Red chilli 2 no
  • Coriander seeds 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • Toor dal 1 tablespoon
  • Bengal gram 1 tablespoon
  • Pepper 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin 1 teaspoon

HOW TO PREPARE HORSE GRAM RASAM?

  • Soak the Horse Gram for 5 hours.
  • Boil the soaked Horse Gram and smash it.
  • Put the pan on the stove, add all dry roasted ingredients and grind it.

  • Put the vessel on the stove add smashed tomatoes.
  • Then add required amount of water and salt.
  • Add turmeric powder.
  • When boiled the liquid add grinded powder.
  • Now add the boiled Horse Gram.
  • When overflowing the rasam, add curry leaf and coriander and off the stove.
  • Seasoning with mustard and asafoetida. Rasam recipe  Pudina rasam
