Beetroot leaves or Beet greens are very healthy packed with nutrition.

Beet greens are nutritious as they are rich in vitamin k, copper, manganese, iron,

and calcium, but they are great for maintaining  a healthy weight, as they contain zero

INGREDIENTS:

  • Beet greens 1 Bunch

  • Bengal gram 1 cup(boiled)

  • Onion 2 numbers(chopped)

  • Green chili 3 numbers(chopped)

  • Mustard 1/4 teaspoon

  • Black gram 1/4 teaspoon

  • Oil and salt as need

METHOD:

  • In a pan with a medium heat add oil ,mustard, black gram ,let it splutter, add chopped onion,  green chili , beet greens and  saute it.

  • Now add little amount of water and boiled it.

  • Once beet greens cooked well add boiled Bengal gram  and mix it. After 1 minutes switch of the flame. now beetroot leaves kootu is ready.
