Pirandai is very useful for stomach as well as heart.It well set right gastric disorder and protect the heart.It is botanical name isCissus quadrangularis and is also called ‘viggravalli’ it belongs to creeper vaiety.
Ingredients
- Pirandai
- Tamarind (lemon size)
- Small onion 15 numbers
- Garlic clove 15 numbers
- Drumstick 1 number
- Tomato 1 number
- Coriander seeds 1 tablespoon
- Red chili 3 numbers
- Toor dal 1 teaspoon
- Bengal gram 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
- Fenugreek 1/4 teaspoon
- Pepper 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Gingelly oil and salt as taste
How to prepare pirandai gravy?

Soak the tamarind and chop an onion, garlic and pirandai.



Add coriander seeds,cumin seeds,pepper,fenugreek,toor dal,bengal gram,and red chili dry roast with out oil.



Transfer to the blender



Add 2 tablespoon of gingelly oil, heat as add half portion of chopped onion and garlic and pirandai.



Saute it,cooked well transfer to the blender, let it cool .



Grind like paste



Heat pan, add gingelly oil,add mustard seeds let it splutter .Then add onoin ond garlic saute it. once onion turns from golden color add tomato and salt.



Once tomato cooked well, add drumstick and tamarind juice.



Tamarind raw smell came out add grided pirandai paste, little amount of water and mix it well and cook well



Delicious kuzhampu is ready
