Veg kola urundai /soya kola ball/soya chunks protein ball is a deep fried delicious snack prepared recipe with soya chunks. Kola urundai chettinad specialty is traditionally made with mutton. Here it is vegetarian version.

Ingredients

  1. Soya chunks
  2. Onion 1 number
  3. Green chili 1 number
  4. Garlic clove 3 number
  5. Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
  6. Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Curry masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Gram flour 1 tablespoon
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Oil and salt as need

How to prepare soya kola urundai?

  • Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 20 minutes.
SOAK SOYACHUNKS
  • Take blender add fennel seeds, green chili , curry leaves, garlic clove
ADD GARLIC,CHILLI IN BLENDER
  • Grind like coarse
GRIND IT
  • Remove the water from the soya chunks, transfer to the blender and grind it.
ADD CHOYA IN BLENDER
  • Grinded paste transfer to the bowl, add gram flour , salt, and fried onion.
TRANSFER TO THE BOWL
  • To make a ball

Finally fry the balls.
