Bitter gourd fry
Bitter gourd fry is very healthy and tasty recipe. It makes easy and quick. Bitter gourd is also vegetable of many names. It is equally knows as bitter melon, bitter cucumber, balsam pear, bitter apple, or bitter squas. Bitter gourd commonly known as karela in India. Bitter gourd is diabetic friendly veggie.
Bitter_gourd is a vegetable Know for rich source of pottasium , vitamin c, iron, magnesium, and fiber. It is loaded with a lot of health benefits that help in digestion.
Red chilli powder
Salt and oil
1.First clean and wash the bitter gourd.
2. Cut them like thin slice.
3. Heat a pan , add oil , mustard and cumin seeds let it splutter. Add 1 chopped onion.
4.When onion turns from golden , add 1 chopped tomato and enough salt.
5. Then , cook tomato well , add 150 gram sliced bitter gourd and mix it well. Cover it using a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Then add 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 1/2 tablespoon home made sambar powder, 1/2 teaspoon jaggery powder and saute it well.
7.Then cook for medium flame 10 minutes and roast it.
