How to make onion poha recipe?
Ingredients
- Poha – 1 cup (chopped)
- Onion – 1 (chopped)
- Green chili- 1 (chopped)
- Mustard seeds – 1/2teaspoon
- Cumin seeds -1/2 teaspoon
- Curry leaves – 1 string
- Turmeric powder – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Peanut -1 tablespoon (for crunch)
- Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
- Coriander leaves (for garnish)
How to prepare
STEP 1
- Rinse poha under water for a few seconds until soft. Drain and set aside.
STEP 2
- Heat oil in a pan, Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, and curry leaves let it splutter them.
STEP 3
- Add peanuts and saute for a few minutes, until crunch.
STEP 4
- Add chopped onion and green chili and cook onion turns soft.
STEP 5
- Add spices and flattened rice
- Add turmeric powder and salt mix well. Add softened poha and stir gently.

Turn off the flame and squeeze in lemon juice and garnish with fresh coriander.
