How to make radish leaves stir fry?
Ingredients
- 2 cups radish leaves– (washed and chopped)
- 1/4 cup moong dal – (yellow split lentil)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 red chilli
- salt to taste
Method:

1. Soak moong dal
- Wash and soak moong dal for 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the leaves
- Wash radish leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
3.Heat oil
- In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, let them splutter.
4.Add onion
- Add chopped onions, garlic,and red chili, saute until golden.
5.Add radish leaves
- Mix in chopped radish leaves and stir well.
6. Cook moong dal
- Add soaked moong dal with a little water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Mix in chopped radish leaves and stir well.
7. Simmer
- Cook for 7-10 minutes until the dal soften.
8. Final touch
- Add salt and mix well and cover it for 1 minutes.
Serve hot
- Enjoy with chapati or steamed rice.
