Varagu Vegetable upma

Ingredients
- Varagu arisi – 1 cup
- Onion – 3 small
- Green chili – 4
- Ginger – 1/2 inch
- Carrot – 1
- Potato – 1
- Beans – 8
- Turmeric powder – 1teaspoon
- Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Chana dal – 1 teaspoon
- urad dal – 1 tablespoon
- Curry leaves – 1 string
- Oil – as need
- Salt- to taste
Preparation
- First chop an onion, green chili, ginger, carrot, beans, and potato. Then wash and drain the millet.
- Put the cooker on the stove, add oil and mustard let it splutter.
- Then add urad dal, chana dal,curry leaves, chili , turmeric and saute it. Add vegetables and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add varagu arisi and stir for 2 minutes.
- Then Add enough water, salt and close the cooker. When the steam comes in the cooker, put a cooker whistle on it and keep it on the stove for 5 minutes in low flame and turn it off.
- After 10 minutes open the cooker and stir the upma once and then take it out.
- Finally Serve hot and enjoy.
