Drumstick Leaves Poriyal
Drumstick leaves poriyal is easy to make south Indian recipe. This poriyal perfect combination with rice and dal. Drumstick leaves is also known as moringa leaves are rich in Antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

Ingredients:
- Drumstick leaves – 2 cups (washed and stem removed)
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry red chili – 1-2
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
- Garlic – 2 cloves (chopped)
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Grated coconut – 2 tablespoon
How to make
1.Wash Drumstick leaves and remove the stem.
2.Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chili and let it splutter them.
3.Add chopped onions and garlic. Cook until onion turns golden
4.Add turmeric powder and mix well..
5.Add drumstick leaves and cook for 3-5 minutes on medium heat. Add salt and mix well.
6.Add grated coconut and mix well cook for 1 minutes.
Serve hot
- Serve hot with steamed rice and dal
