Mudakathan keerai Dosai
Mudakathan keerai (dosai) also known as Balloon vine or Cardiospermum halicacabum, is a medicinal herb popular in South India.

Balloon vine (Mudakathan) a type of spinach that grows wild in fences. It leaves have a bitter taste. A significant amount of vitamins and minerals are present in balloon vine. Regular consumption of this spinach cres diseases such as hemorrhoids and constipation. I am going to make dosa with mudakathan keerai.
How to make
Ingredients
- Mudakathan keerai – 1 cup
- Idly rice – 2 cup
- Urad dal – 2 tablespoon
- salt – to taste
- Oil – as need
Method step by step
1.Wash and soak idly rice with urad dal for 3 hours.
2.Mudakathan keerai

- Wash the leaves and drained it.
2. Prepare the flour

- Mudakathan place it in the mixer, add salt, soaked rice and urad dal and little water, grind smoothly.
- Let it ferment for 7 to 8 hours.
3. Make dosa

- Heat tawa and spread a ladle full of batter.
