Palm candy sweet recipe

This sweet is traditional south Indian sweet and very healthy recipe.

Palm candy(in Tamil-"Panakarkandu") is produced from the sweet" Neera" from Palmyra.

1. Palm candy is a nutrient rich, low glycemic crystalline sweetener.

2. It is completely natural.

3. Palm candy gives natural aroma and taste.

4. It has a number of minerals, vitamins, calcium, iron ,zinc and potassium.

How to make palm candy payasam

Ingredients

rice coconut  palmcandy milk  ghee cardamon almond dry grapes

 Broke the rice like rava  (suji)

Add the broken rice in boiled water.

 Grind the coconut like  paste  and add the paste in the rice.

Once the rice  cooked well,add palm candy.

Add boiled milk. Once boiled well,  switch off the flame.Fry the almond, dry grapes, cardamom with ghee and add in payasam.
